Today we re-enbled downloads for the UTCacheExtractor. I apologize for any inconvenience.

12/02/2006 - UTCacheExtractor downloads temporarily suspended

I had to temporarily suspend downloads of the UTCacheExtractor today. I was getting about 10 downloads a second and it was threating to eat up all the available bandwidth of the site! I will resume allowing downloads as soon as possible. In the interim, if you need the application, contact me and I can email you the zip file.

08/14/2005 - Site is now back online

The company that hosts my websites moved all of my sites to a new server last month. When they did so, they screwed up the permissions on the site. This caused a 403 Forbidden error whenever the site was accessed. I have addressed this issue, and the site should now be fully accessible. I apologize for any inconvenience.

10/20/2004 - Site Hiccup

There was a slight hiccup on the site yesterday, that lasted until this morning. The permission on the webserver were screwed up so the site was returning a "forbidden" error when trying to view. Everything is cleared up now, and the site should be back to normal. I apologize for any convenience.

10/11/2004 - Granite Mountain Software announces a new Download Center

Granite Mountain Software is proud to announce it's new Download Center. Files are no longer available as a direct download to a zip file. There is no charge to download any of the freeware or shareward applications, rather the download center allows me to better keep track of files that are downloaded (through counters). I was not able to do that when a site linked directly to the zip file. Also, as an added benefit, the Download Center will ALWAYS point to the latest version of a download, so this should eliminate "File not found" errors when sites try link directly to an old version of a application. For more information on the Download Center, please feel free to contact me.

Company Information

Granite Mountain Software is dedicated to providing you with low cost, useful software.  We have been providing software and services since 1995.  Our first shareware product was SLO, which was designed for using programs that were developed for the old 8086 with the [relatively] faster 386/486.  It accomplished this by stealing "time slices" from the CPU, effectively  slowing down the computer.  It was mainly designed for playing games. What made SLO superior to other programs that were created for this purpose, is that SLO was COMPLETELY UNINSTALLABLE without rebooting (following the rules for uninstalling TSR's). Furthermore, the size of SLO in memory was just 1.6K. It also supported enabling/disabling via a hot key combination, and would disable itself during disk access, allowing you to slow down the computer without compromising hard disk performance.
