Kewl Bar Help  -  AltaVista Help

AltaVista looks for Web pages that contain all of the words you type in the search box. Try to e as specific as you can. Because AltaVista indexes all of the words on each Web page, try to enter words that you think will appear on the Web page you are looking for.
To require a word, put a "+" directly in front of it. To exclude a word, put a "-" directly in front of it. (i.e. +bears -football). To search for an exact phrase, put it in quotes (i.e. "the white house"). Searchs are not case sensitive (Uppercase and lowercase are treated the same). If you are searching for words that need to have certain capitalization, put the word in quotes. Also, words containing punctuation are treated as if they are surrounded in quotes. (i.e. Jeep.Cherokee/Parts gives the same results as "Jeep Cherokee Parts".)
